Exciting News. My 7th Piano Album Ablaze is coming! Likely release date is 02 December 2022
If I manage that, then that’s two albums this year!
There are 7 inspired tracks on the album:
1. Ablaze
The title track is a piece I really enjoyed writing. Music should be passionate and emotional. I believe good music expresses the heart and I believe a worship of the Almighty. Laus Deo!
2. Serenity
We not only need fire in our souls but we need some serenity: the quality of being peaceful and calm. This simple piece is designed for you to still your heart and know the presence of the Lord!
3. Waltz of the Flowers
This is a track I wrote for my daughter Sarah who has just finished at Chichester University with a First in Drama. She’s always moving around so I thought this waltz really captured her free spirit!

4. Ballade For Martin
A close friend for the last 20+ years, Martin Ellwood passed away recently. This was really sad for me but I had already written a track that on hearing the news I was going to dedicate to him. Finishing and recording the piece was huge therapy for me and helped me process the grief. I hope you can hear this music my friend.
5. Melody in C
This track was created in a moment of improvisation and is dedicated to artist friend Melody Nydam. I love a good tune. Without melody music is a bit dull in my opinion.
6. Royale
This piece has been has been through several names but I wanted to write something majestic and royal. Something in the style of Mozart and Beethoven.
7. Farewell to Her Majesty
Again death has been an inspiration. This started off as an improvisation but after Queen Elizabeth’s death I felt grief and I decided that this would be a great tribute for her majesty.
