NO MORE TEARS
“No More Tears” is my 6th studio Album of original Piano music. I believe that God has given me the gift of music to change spiritual atmospheres. To bring healing. I hope if you are feeling negative emotions that this album will help you and bless you! The Album is an expression of joy and thankfulness. I don’t think I can write dark and gloomy music but the album was overshadowed my father’s death in 2021. What was wonderful was that the grieving process increased the creative output and already there is a follow up album called Serenity also with 8 tracks to shortly follow this one in 2022 which will make a first – two album in in a year.
I believe that 2022 is a significant year creatively and as I have continued to work with artist friends I’m conscious that even instrumental music can be an expression of wonder, praise, worship and prayer to God. When I am composing I feel connected to God and feel the creative flow of the Holy Spirit in a similar way to the pentecostal gifts of prophecy and tongues. That is why I am calling these two albums key of David albums. I believe that music can be a spiritual experience that opens the doors into the supernatural.

Just to tell you a bit about the tracks and my creative process. The order they appear is not the order of creation. In fact, some of the later ones like “Dreaming” are brand new and some the older ones will appear on the next album. Each track start life as an improvised idea. Sometimes I will write the idea down but often just let it marinate. I never strive but often find when I meditate on the idea the next morning the next idea unfolds. For me melody is the overriding concern and I love the classical masters so I love music that changes key and has string contrasts. I hope this isn’t too pretentious but I actually like my own music and enjoy playing it. Even if no one listened to a single bar I would keep creating. It’s part of me!
The last track on the album Do Zobaczenia is polish for “see ya” and I thought was appropriate as a goodbye track. I think it sounds jewish and I was thinking of the 6 million jews murdered by the nazi in world war two so this kind of track is as sad as I can get!
No more tears and Joy De Vie (the joy of life) are both tracks that express the joy of being alive for me and Dance of the Stars is a exuberant waltz inspired by my dads passing. Rather than express sorrow I express joy at his safe entrance into heavens courts – and one day I will see him again. So, dad even though you weren’t much of a musician maybe you will appreciate this echo of the music of heaven!
Hymn for Ukraine was obviously inspired by the war in Ukraine and was written as a kind of hymn without words. It has a simple tenary structure with the middle section in the relative minor and representing the turmoil. I hope this track brings hope every where.
Many of the tracks I’ve dedicated to great composers. La Cathedrale is perhaps the first track I wrote after completing Bright and Beautiful and is dedicated to Debussy ( I pinched one of the names of his beautiful tracks). It doesn’t seek to emulate his music but I think sounds a bit ecclesiastical.
Caprice was the last track to be recorded and again is a mixture of joy and sadness. Classical Music can express the journey of life with all its ups and downs and tensions andI think this track really does that. I hope you enjoy its bouncy tune and the modal A minor section.
