I’m so excited – as I have finished recording all 10 tracks today June 30th for the new album At The End Of the World! There are a few changes I need to make and some mastering to do but basically its finished! Additionally, I’ve been working hard at scoring each track and that is pretty much complete as well. I’m hoping to release on this site only on Tuesday 4th August 2020.
How did the Album Come about?
I started writing a few of the tracks when releasing my previous album in 2019 Revived that didn’t make it onto the album. However, in December 2019 the title track came about as a feeling I couldn’t quite identify at the time. A feeling of the something like dystopian Eastern European. A feeling of melancholy and decay or restriction. At first the track was called Leningrad ( after the famous Russian city) but as the Corona Virus hit us I realised that somehow prophetically I had written the track for such a time as this – the Corona Virus pandemic – and I renamed it ‘At the End of the World’. Many of the other tracks were written and recorded during this time.
