I’ve started to get excited about a worship project that the Lord has been putting on my heart during these difficult times during the Corona Virus. I’ve been revisiting songs that I’ve written over the years which really haven’t seen the light of day – until now! At the same time I’ve been getting a stirring about Scotland ( my wife Fran is from Paisley) and Noble is a Scottish name – we even have a tarten!
I believe that we are heading for a Revival of Christianity in our land before that great and terrible day of the Lord. It’s on God’s heart to heal our land and the North and South divide to unite us as one. England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. My aim is to record this album in Scotland early 2021. I will probably fund the recording by starting a crowd funding site – watch this space!
So far, I’ve been going through the many songs that I’ve written and here are the ones that I think make it on to the album with a provisional name of ‘United as One’. The sound I want to achieve is something that will match the wildness and abandon of the Scottish Highlands with haunting Celtic melancholy but at the same time with the Classical English and restrained sounds of Elgar/Handel/Vaughan Williams. Many of these songs represent different periods of my musical journey: Violin, Guitar and Piano.
Each of the songs are finished but are in various states of recording and production. Some have even been road tested and sung in churches over the years. I’m praying that the Lord will supply what is needed for this project to succeed and bless many people around the world.
